Soccer6 COVID 19 Return to Play Safely Plan 2021

Safety Guidelines

Soccer6 League is committed to operate any and all of our leagues in accordance with City and State guidelines. Our staff and administrators will ensure that the following safety measures are in place before any individual game kicks off. Failure to comply with these guidelines puts the soccer6 league at risk of losing permits to operate the league. Teams or individuals who violate these guidelines will be warned and then dismissed. We appreciate your compliance.

  • Every participant, staff member and player will need to fill out and submit a health screening form on the day of their game.  This will come as an email the morning of your game.

  • Players and/or staff will be instructed to stay at home if they have tested positive, show COVID-19 related symptoms or had contact with someone infected with COVID-19.

  • All persons are required to notify our staff if they have tested positive for COVID-19.

  • Any person who tests positive for COVID-19 should not return until they have met CDC criteria to discontinue home isolation, including 3 days with no fever, improved symptoms, and a minimum of 14 days since symptoms first appeared.

  • Anyone who has been exposed to someone who was infected with COVID 19 should self quarantine for 10 days and miss any games that fall in that time frame.

  • Staff and Players are required to wear masks at all times except while playing.

  • Masks and hand sanitizer will be made available at the field for all players + staff.

  • Spectators are not permitted at this time.

  • All staff & players are required to follow physical distancing guidelines.

  • Please arrive as close to gametime as possible to eliminate cross traffic of players and stay in your team's designated area. Please leave the field directly after your game. No “hanging out” at the field at this time.

  • Balls and any other equipment that is handled by players or staff will be cleaned/disinfected periodically.

These protocols may change, and updates will be provided.

For 10 years, the soccer6 league has provided a fun, competitive and safe environment to play.  We value your safety and appreciate your patronage.  We promise to do our best to provide the safest environment possible to play recreational soccer.

Respectfully,

Mac Thompson
